Yes. AIDA sits within a designated Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC), and every DarGlobal factsheet for AIDA confirms 100% foreign ownership across all six residences.
Does buying at AIDA qualify for Oman residency?
Purchases in AIDA's designated investment zone qualify for Oman's long-term residency visa (confirmed as a lifetime Omani residency visa on the Marriott Residences factsheet), plus 0% personal income tax and 0% inheritance tax within the special economic/free zone. Estimate: Oman's Investor Residency programme is generally tied to a minimum property value, reported in the region of OMR 250,000–500,000 depending on the residency term — most AIDA villas and several apartment tiers are expected to qualify. How do the payment plans work?
Each residence has its own instalment plan running 4–6 years to handover (see individual cards above). Across every DarGlobal factsheet for AIDA, customers pay 5% VAT on each instalment plus a 3% registration fee due on completion.
